The life program at PCS helps prepare students with disabilities to learn the functional skills they will need in life after they have finished their educational adventures. The program concentrates on skills such as: money concepts, measurement, time, fractions, math computations, writing, reading comprehension and fluency, spelling, science, cooking, hygiene, social skills, and adaptive physical education, adaptive swim.
These programs help our students build self esteem, self reliance, and self worth. By allowing our students to make choices for themselves, they become more independent individuals. This is important for all children.
